About

Hi! I’m Nicole, a certified personal trainer and Functional Movement Specialist proud to call the East Bay home.

Over the years, I’ve been a professional dancer, worked in public affairs, led youth development programs, and started two businesses—one teaching dance in Harlem public schools and another personal training business in New York. In 2010, I began leading women’s workouts in Riverside Park in New York City and quickly fell in love with the community and camaraderie we built together.

A few years later, my family moved back to California, and the pandemic reshaped so much of daily life. During that time, I realized how strongly I wanted to return to my passion for helping people discover functional movement, strength, and the joy of moving together in community.

After relocating to the East Bay, I knew it was time to reconnect with that work. Today, I’m grateful to lead small-group personal training sessions through the El Cerrito Recreation Department and a weekly Women’s Workout at Cerrito Vista Park.

My Philosophy

My philosophy about movement is that it I believe movement should be fun and that everyone deserves to feel welcome in exercise. Having a supportive coach to guide you can be one of the most powerful forms of self-care.

I’ve worked with people at every stage of their fitness journey—from those who haven’t exercised since high school P.E. to former college athletes training for marathons. Every person I work with matters to me, and many clients become lifelong friends.

I also encourage training with a friend or partner. Moving together not only makes workouts more enjoyable, it creates a unique sense of connection and support.

Outside of training, you’ll often find me exploring the East Bay with my husband and daughter or relaxing at a local coffee shop with a good book.

I look forward to helping you find movement that feels good, builds strength, and supports your life every day.

Tailored sessions designed to meet your unique goals and needs. Whether that is building strength, improving mobility or boosting energy.

Perfect for beginners, busy parents or anyone seeking personalized guidance. Each session is 50 minutes in length and includes assisted stretching by trainer.

Semi-Private Personal Training
from $30.00

Semi-private personal training involves two to four people training together in a more personalized setting. Each participant follows a program tailored to their individual goals and fitness level, while benefiting from the energy and accountability of training alongside others. The cost listed is for one participant per size of group. Each session is 55 mins long and includes assisted stretching by the trainer.

Women's Workout Classes

Programs designed for women that meet 1 to 2 times a week to build strength, flexibility and functional movement. Build healthy habits in an incredibly supportive environment with other women of all ages and levels of fitness. ALL are welcome and modifications and progressions are available for exercise.
